ABOUT US: Our Family

A little bit about our family

Christina has been working with horses for over 30 years and grew up showing in the local 4H horse club. As she went to college, she participated in the IHSA and placed sixth at the National Horse Show in 2009! She trained her first horse, Rascal, at the age of twelve.  Christina has followed in her parents' footsteps and is a Certified Leader for our local 4H Horse Club, the Hardin County 4H Trailblazers. She has also been giving riding lessons since 2008.

Bob is Christina's dad and has been working with horses for over 35 years. He has trained and worked with countless horses, including most of our stock. He was the local 4H leader for ten years while Christi was young. During that time he hosted clinics to help young riders learn how to work with their horses. He has been working with Christi to give lessons since 2010.

Lisa is Christina's mom and grew up with horses. She was also a leader of the local 4H club for ten years while Christi was young. As a leader, she specialized in working with the 4H drill team, taking them to the Kentucky State 4H Horse Show and 1st place multiple years. Lisa has been working with Christi to give lessons since 2010.

Joe is Christina's husband. He is not "horse" savvy but supports the farm in several other ways, including labor and technical assistance.

Joe and Christina have 3 kids who you will see at the farm: Sylar, Lilly and Maggie. They all enjoy the horses and the barn!
